US network ABC has ordered additional episodes for eight of its biggest series including 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Modern Family' and 'The Middle'.
Newer series 'Black-ish' and 'The Goldbergs' have also got the go-ahead for another two episodes, bringing their episode count to 24, reported Deadline.
Meanwhile, 'Castle' has received one extra episode, notching its sixth season up to 23 episodes, as well as 'Resurrection', taking its second season up to 14.
'Once Upon a Time' co-creator Adam Horowitz has revealed that the fairy tale drama will gain an extra hour too, as its November 16 broadcast will become a double bill.
