Groundnut, mustard oils up on retailers demand

Groundnut and mustard oil prices rose by Rs 50 each per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today on retailers demand.

However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said increased demand from retailers mainly influenced groundnut and mustard oil prices.

In the national capital, groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) and mustard expeller (Dadri) oils rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 7,300 and Rs 7,000 per quintal, respectively.

Following are today's quotations per quintal:

Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.
 

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,300, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,000, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 10,000, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,450, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,250, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,750, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,200, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,750, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,400, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin) 1,900-1,950.

Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,450, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,400-9,500, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.

Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
