In the edible section, groundnutoil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,250 from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,260, while refined palmolein looked up to Rs 664 per 10 kg from Rs 663.
Turning to the non-edible section, castorseeds bold eased by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,275 from overnight close of RS 3,300 and castorseed commercial slipped by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 770 from Rs 775.
Moving to futures, castorseed for June contract resumed higher at Rs 3,400, later drifted lower to Rs 3,345 before closing at Rs 3,364 over its previous close of Rs 3,386, showing a loss of Rs 22 per tonne.
