Groundnut oil dropped further in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following reduced demand from stockists and retailers amid adequate stock position.
While, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial, linseed oil and refined palmolein held stable in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil moved down by Rs 30 per 10 kg to Rs 1,000 from Thursday's close at Rs 1,030 and refined palmolein ended unaltered to Rs 588 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 3,925 per 100 kg, Rs 815 per 10 kg and Rs 1,050 per 10 kg, respectively.
