In the edible segment, groundnut oil gained by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 1,210 from Friday's closing level of Rs 1,200. However, refined palmolein edged down by Rs 2 Rs 613 per 10 kg from Rs 615.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold rose by Rs 35 per 100 kg to Rs 4,075 from Rs 4,040 and Castor oil commercial also went up by Rs 7 to Rs 845 per 10 kg as compared to Rs 838 previously. Linseed oil ended unaltered at Rs 845 per 10 kg.
Turning to futures, castorseeds for the Sept contract opened lower at Rs 4,380 and advanced further to Rs 4,400 before drifting to conclude at Rs 4,310 as against Rs 4,395 previously, showing a loss of Rs 85 per tonne.
