Groundnut oil prices hardened further in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market due to rising demand from stockists and retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing regions.

Meanwhile, refined palmolein declined further on stockist selling amid lack of retail buying support.

In the non-edible section, castorseed bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil prices held stable in the absence of any major buying activity.

In the edible segment, groundnut oil shot-up by Rs 15 per 10 kg to Rs 1010 from Friday's closing level of Rs 995. However, refined palmolein went down by Rs 4 per 10kg to Rs 525 from Rs 529.

Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold, castoroil commercial and linseedoil all ended unaltered at Rs 4,350 per 100kg and Rs 900 per 10kg and Rs 770 per 10 kg respectively.
