Groundnut oil rebounded smartly at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on heavy demand from stockists and retailers amid forthcoming festivities.
Meanwhile, refined palmolein and lineed oil held stable in absence of any large-scale buying activity.
While, castorseed bold and castoroil commercial slipped following lower demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 40 per 10kg to Rs 1,410 from Wednesday's close Rs 1,370 and refined palmolein unaltered at Rs 584 per 10kg.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold fell by Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,610 as against Rs 3,635 yesterday and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 752 as compared Rs 757 previously.
Linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 1,150 per 10kg.
