Groundnut oil maintains bullish trend

Groundnut oil prices maintained its strong uptrend at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following rising demand from stockists and retailers amidst festive offtake.

Refined palmolein also recovered marginally due to fresh demand from retailers.

Castorseeds bold and castoroil commercial fell owing to reduced demand from soaps and shippers industries.

Meanwhile, linseeds oil ruled steady in the absence of any large-scale buying activities.

In the edible section, groundnut oil rose by Rs 20 per 10 kg to Rs 860 from Monday's close Rs 840 and refined palmolein inched up to Rs 595 per 10 kg.

Moving the non-edible segment, castorseeds bold dropped by Rs 40 per 100kg to Rs 4,740 as against Rs 4,780 yesterday and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 8 per 10 kg to Rs 978 as compared Rs 986.
 

Linseeds oil ended unaltered at Rs 750 per 10kg.
