Groundnut oil prices fell further by Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today owing to slackened demand from retailers against ample stocks position.

However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around the previous levels.

Traders said besides easing demand from retailers, adequate stocks position on increased supplies from producing belts, mainly kept pressure on the groundnut oil prices.
