Groundnut oil slipped in an otherwise listless Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on subdued demand from stockists and retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing regions.
While, refined palmolein, linseeds oil, castorseeds bold and castor oil ruled stable due to lack of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil dropped by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 840 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 850. However, refined palmolein closed unchanged at Rs 475 per 10 kg.
Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil closed unaltered at Rs 4,175 per 100 kg, Rs 865 and Rs 750 per 10 kg, respectively.
