Groundnut oil strengthened further in an otherwise lacklustre Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market on sustained demand from stockists and retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing regions.
While, refined palmolein slipped following lack of retail demand.
In the non-edible section, castorseed bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil ruled stable in the absence of any largescale buying activity.
In the edible segment, groundnut oil climbed by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 845 from Monday's closing level of Rs 840.
However, refined palmolein edged down by a Re per kg to Rs 479 as against Rs 480 yesterday.
Moving to non-edible section, castorseeds bold, castor oil commercial and linseed oil closed unchanged at Rs 4,125 per 100 kg, Rs 855 and Rs 750 per 10 kg, respectively.
