Amid uptick in retailers demand and restricted supplies from producing regions, groundnut oil prices rose by Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today.
However, other edible and non-edible oils continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said besides pick up in demand from retailers, restricted supplies from producing belts mainly pushed up groundnut oil prices.
