Prices of groundnut and palmolein oils rose by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today following pick up in demand from retailers amid restricted supplies from producing belts.
However, non-edible oils moved in a narrow range in limited deals and pegged at last levels.
Traders said besides uptick in demand from retailers, restricted supplies from producing regions mainly pushed up groundnut and palmolein oil prices.
