The Congress today said there is some groupism in the state party unit, but sought to explain it as a "natural" phenomenon in a party with democratic credentials.
State chief Chandrabhan, while talking to mediapersons on the sidelines of divisional-level meeting of the party leaders here yesterday said "there are fractions in the party in several districts of the state."
Admitting that there is groupism in the state unit, he however termed it "natural", given that Congress is the largest party in the country.
"The situation is not as bad as it can not be tackled or controlled," he said.
