A Government Railway Police (GRP) personnel and his daughter were killed under mysterious circumstances in Orai district here, police said today.
Rajendra Singh Yadav (46), and his daughter Shivangi were killed after being hit by bullet, SP Rakesh Shankar said, adding they were investigating from where the bullet was fired.
His wife Rajni was injured in the incident. The deceased's son Raghvendra (18) informed police about the incident this morning, he said.
Raghvendra has been taken into custody on the basis of suspicion, added Shankar.
