Passage of the GST constitutional amendment ratification bill would be the chief agenda of the monsoon session of Andhra Pradesh legislature, to start from September 8, the state finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said today.
Speaking to reporters at Amalapuram, he said earlier there was a proposal to hold the session at Amaravathi, the upcoming new capital city, but as GST bill was to be ratified expeditiously, the session would be held at Hyderabad.
GST bill will be hopefully ratified on September 8 itself with the support of all the parties, he said.
Earlier, Ramakrishnudu and Deputy Chief Minister N Chinarajappa unveiled the statue of the late former minister Metla Satyanarayana at Komaragiripatnam in Allavaram mandal, and inaugurated NTR Sujala water supply scheme at Metla Ramurthy Primary Cooperative society.
