Cable services firm GTPL Hathway today posted a 54.73 jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 11.76 crore for the second quarter of the current fiscal.
Its net profit stood at Rs 7.6 crore in the year-ago period, the Ahmedabad-based company said in a regulatory filing.
Total income increased to Rs 183.51 crore in the July- September period of the current fiscal from Rs 148 crore in the same quarter last year.
Expenses rose to Rs 159.5 crore from Rs 136.6 crore earlier.
Shares of the company rose 0.66 per cent to settle at Rs 153.20 apiece on the BSE today.
