Guar gum prices went up by Rs 84 to Rs 7,969 per quintal in futures trading today as operators widened positions, largely in tune with rebound in demand at the physical markets.
Besides, acceleration in export demand supported the upside in guar gum prices.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum for most-traded delivery in October hardened by Rs 84, or 1.07 per cent, to Rs 7,969 per quintal, with an open interest of 43,995 lots.
The delivery for the November also gained Rs 75, or 0.94 per cent, to Rs 8,095 per quintal, having an open interest of 2,270 lots.
