Guar gum prices on Wednesday advanced Rs 9 to Rs 8,016 per five quintal in futures trade as investors created fresh bets on firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for December rose by Rs 9, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 8,016 per five quintal with an open interest of 56,665 lots.
Restricted arrivals from growing regions aided the rise in guar gum prices, traders said.
