Three persons were today questioned by police in connection with the break-in and murder of a security guard at a bungalow in nearby Kodanadu Estate, frequented by late chief Minister Jayalalithaa.
Another guard, who escaped the yesterday's attack with injuries, was taken to the crime spot as part of the probe headed by Nilgiris District Superintendent of Police Murali Ramba, police said.
A man who was formerly employed as a driver in the estate and two others interrogated, they said, declining to divulge further details.

Estate workers found guard Om Bahadur murdered and another guard Kishan Bahadur lying with injuries early yesterday at the 10th gate of the bungalow while some documents were suspected to have been stolen from the premises.
The estate figures in the disproportionate assets case involving jailed AIADMK general secretary V K Sasikala and Jayalalithaa, among others.
A 10-member masked gang was suspected to have carried out the attack. A door of the bungalow was broke open and some suitcases found open, leading to suspicion that the gang wanted to steal valuables and documents.
