Guargum prices were down by Rs 90 to Rs 7,880 per quintal in futures trading today as traders were seen trimming, tracking weak global as well as spot market cues.
Marketmen said persistent supplies from growing regions, sparked by slackened buying by guargum makers in spot markets, mainly brought down the guargum prices.
Furthermore, rising inventories and sluggish export demand weighed on prices, they added.
