Guargum prices declined by Rs 70 to Rs 5,670 per quintal in futures trade today following profit booking by speculators, driven by weak physical markets.
Marketmen said after yesterday's rise, operators preferred to off-load holdings, this led the fall in prices.
Besides, fall in prices at spot markets due to gearing up in arrivals amid slackness in demand too influenced trading sentiments here in future markets, they added.0
