Guarseed prices were higher by Rs 49 to Rs 3,417 per quintal in futures trade today as traders widened their exposure, tracking a firm trend at the physical markets.
Marketmen said the rise in guarseed prices at futures trade was largely in tandem with a firm trend at the physical markets on firm demand.
At the National Commodity and Derivative Exchange, guarseed 10-mt for delivery this month contracts flared up by Rs 49 or 1.45 per cent to Rs 3,417 per quintal with an open interest of 680 lots.
The most-active delivery in November contracts also spurted by Rs 41 or 1.20 per cent to Rs 3,462 per quintal with the business turnover of 83,020 open lots.
