Terming the incident as 'unfortunate and isolated', he however said it has not shaken the confidence of the car-maker.

"The incident which took place at Manesar is unfortunate and isolated. The guilty will be punished. However, Maruti has said it will not shift its operations out of Haryana. This shows the confidence of the Japanese car-maker is not shaken," Moily told reporters on the sidelines of an event here.

The violence broke out at the Manesar plant of Maruti on July 18 in which a senior HR executive of the company was killed and nearly 100 were injured.

Following this, the company declared a lock-out at the plant but said there would not be any shift of operations from Manesar to Gujarat.
