The by-poll will see a direct fight between Congress and BJP.
While Congress has given ticket to Bhagwanji Barad, younger brother of Jasu Barad, the BJP has fielded Govind Parmar, who had won from the seat in 2002 Assembly elections, defeating Jasu Barad.
Counting of votes will be held on May 19.
This will be the second face-off between Bhawanji Barad and Parmar as they had contested against each other in same seat in the 2007 Assembly polls which Bhagwanji had won.
Jasu Barad had defeated Parmar in 2012 Assembly polls with a thin margin.
