Devotees from Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan and other states are flocking to the centuries-old Kalika Mata Temple at Pavagadh as the nine-day Chaitra Navratra festival started today.
The temple is located in the neighbouring Panchmahal district.
The administration has made elaborate arrangements for security and for providing amenities to devotees including drinking water and transportservices, said Collector S K Langa.
Located inside the Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park, the temple complex dates back to the 11th century.
