Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel will tomorrow flag off the Vadodara International Half Marathon (VIHM) here.
"The 5th edition of the Marathon pledges to support Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for 'Swacch Bharat' (clean India) by 2019. We have join hands with the Vadodara municipal corporation," VIMH chairperson Tejal Amin told PTI.
Around 70,000 people will take part along with 80 athletes from Kenya, Ethiopia and United Kingdom, Amin added.

The marathon also pledges to support the cause of women empowerment through skill development initiatives. It will be flagged off from the historical Lakshmi Vilace palace by Patel.
Meanwhile, security has been stepped up for the event.
