Gujarat Chief Minister meets Turkish and Canadian delegations

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel said here today that various avenues of bilateral trade and co-operation were discussed at separate meetings with Turkish and Canadian delegations at Gandhinagar.

During her meeting with the Ambassador of Turkey to India Barak Akcapar, Patel stressed the need to increase co-operation between Gujarat and Turkey in textiles, auto parts and infrastructure sector.

Patel also invited the Turkish delegation to take part in the Global CEO Meet during Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2015.

Later, Patel held another meeting with the Premier of Saskatchewan province of Canada Brad Wall, since Canada is one of the eight partner countries participating in the Vibrant Gujarat Summit.
 

Patel showed interest in adopting new and innovative agricultural practices in Saskatchewan for the development of Gujarat's agriculture sector.

She also discussed possibilities of increasing co-operation between Canada and Gujarat in energy, diamond polishing, fertiliser and mining sectors.
