Gujarat CM announces Rs 5 crore aid for flood-hit J&K

Gujarat Chief Minister Anandi Patel today announced an aid of Rs 5 crore from the 'CM Relief Fund' for people in flood-ravaged Jammu And Kashmir.

She made the announcement through a tweet today. Patel also announced to send 1 lakh food packets daily for the affected people.

She tweeted, "Guj tries to do its bit for the ppl of J&K; an aid of Rs 5 crore from CM relief fund. Also, 1 lac food packets will be sent daily to the affected."

Patel's announcement came after Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the affected regions in the valley recently and announced a relief package of Rs 1,000 crore.
 

Earlier, Patel also shared grief of flood affected people through a tweet, which read, "Heartfelt prayers for the unfortunate loss of lives in flood affected J&K. Gujarat stands by them in the hour of grief.
