Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel today paid a surprise visit to V S Hospital here and took stock of various facilities provided to the patients.
V S Hospital is run by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC). Patel arrived at the hospital premises this morning and visited various wards of hospital, an official release said.
She took feedback from patients and their relatives about various facilities and treatments provided by the hospital. Later, the Chief Minister held a meeting with doctors as well as other officials and gave instructions to improve the services, it added.

Meanwhile, the Gujarat government also has decided to induct 479 staff nurses, working at various government hospitals on full pay scale.
These nurses include those who have completed five year contractual tenure on fix-pay scale, the release added.
