The Gujarat government handed over a Letter of Intent to Maritime Energy Heli Air Services (MEHAIR) today to commence intra-state air service to connect nine cities of the state by the end of December this year.
According to an official release, the Gujarat State Civil Aviation Ministry has entered into an agreement with MEHAIR to start flights to nine cities of Gujarat within 45 days, before December 22.
These nine cities include Ahmedabad, Surat, Bhavnagar, Bhuj, Mandvi, Jamnagar, Keshod, Porbandar and Rajkot, the release said.

The Letter of Intent (LoI) was handed over to MEHAIR's Director and Co-founder Siddharth Verma by Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel, the release said.
The release also claimed that MEHAIR would start a sea-plane service here using Cessna 208B Grand Caravan aircraft, which can carry nine passengers and two pilots.
