Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel has announced setting up of a tourist circuit on the life of Sardar Patel to make people aware about his work.
The announcement was made by the chief minister yesterday after inaugurating a 30-feet statue of Sardar Patel at Bardoli town of Surat district, an official release said.
This statue is a smaller replica of the proposed 182-meter tall 'Statue of Unity', claimed to be world's tallest statue coming up at Kevadia colony in Narmada district.

The CM said that her government has decided to develop a tourist circuit on the life and teachings of Vallabhbhai Patel for those wanting to know more about him.
She added that the circuit will cover his birth place as well as other important places in Gujarat where he lived.
While inaugurating the replica, Patel said that her government is walking on the path shown by Sardar Patel to bring the fruits of development to the poor citizens.
The Chief Minister also sought people's contribution in the state government's mission to build toilets in each house, it said.
