Kandhal Jadeja, son of the late gangster Santokben Jadeja, is likely to be the candidate of Congress-NCP alliance from Porbandar constituency in Gujarat.
Congress has agreed to give the Porbandar seat to the Sharad Pawar-led party.
"Our (NCP) candidate Kandhal Jadeja is likely to contest from Porbandar," Gujarat NCP president Jayant Patel told PTI.

Jadeja is currently the NCP MLA from Kutiyana in the Porbandar district.
"Following the meeting between our party leaders with central leaders of Congress, the seat-sharing agreement has been worked out," Patel said, confirming that Congress president's political secretary Ahmed Patel and senior NCP leader Praful Patel had a meeting in Delhi.
Praful Patel, who visited Ambaji temple in Banaskantha district yesterday, discussed the seat-sharing with local NCP leaders, he said.
Gujarat Congress president Arjun Modhwadia said that "The issue is now with the Antony committee and soon a decision will be taken.
