Gujarat Pipavav Q3 net profit falls 23 pc to Rs 50 cr

Gujarat Pipavav Port Ltd (GPPL) today posted 22.63 per cent fall in standalone net profit to Rs 49.9 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2017.

The company had posted a net profit of Rs 64.5 crore in the year-ago period, GPPL said in a BSE filing.

Total income during the said quarter fell to Rs 170.09 crore, from Rs 180.03 crore in the third quarter of 2016-17 fiscal.

Total expenses were at Rs 93.2 crore, as against Rs 92.4 crore in the year-ago period.

Shares of GPPL settled at Rs 147 apiece, down 2.23 per cent on BSE.
