Gujarat chief Minister Narendra Modi will lay the foundation of several development works in Dahod.
In a message on the eve of the state's foundation day, Modi said there has been more development in Gujarat in the 21st century despite the fact that the last decade began with an earthquake and other natural disasters.
Instead of shying away from difficulties, people of the state have always faced challenges and converted them into opportunities, he said.
Modi said Gujarat today is synonymous with development. He attributed it to the spirit of peace, unity and brotherhood that prevails in Gujarat.
He also pointed out that a drought-prone Gujarat has made rapid advances in agriculture. Dairy production is also on the rise.
The Chief Minister pointed out that today all the regions and sections of Gujarati society are developing at a great pace, be it industry, human resource development or women empowerment.
