Sustainable Energy for All (SE4ALL), an initiative of the United Nations, will sign an MoU with Gujarat Government, which will help the state develop sustainable energy mediums and facilitate its collaboration with global institutions.

SE4ALL said in a statement today that the MoU will be signed on January 12 during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit.

"The intent of the MoU is to establish a framework for collaboration between SE4ALL and the state government on activities that would support SE4ALL objectives," it said.

"Key areas of collaboration will include catalysing technical support to assist the Government of Gujarat and its entities to develop strategic pathways for sustainable energy and implement plans for achieving those objectives," said Mohinder Gulati, the initiative's Chief Operating Officer.

Vibrant Gujarat, a biennial event taking place from January 11 to January 13, will focus on sustainable energy for all, smart cities, water management, climate change, health for all and global competitiveness of small and medium Enterprises, it said.
