Welcoming state government's decision of recommending inclusion of the language in the Schedule, Tribal Research and Cultural Foundation secretary Javed Rahi termed Gojri as the oldest and significant Tribal language.
Gojri presents a strong case for its inclusion in the Eighth Schedule keeping in view its merit, importance and strong literary tradition, he said.
Rahi also thanked Governor N N Vohra for his efforts in this regard.
