The trial court here would hear the final arguments in the 2002 Gulberg society riot case from June 8.
Sixty-nine people, mostly Muslims, including former Congress MP Ehsan Jafri, were killed when a mob went on a rampage at Gulberg Housing Society here on February 28, 2002, a day after the Godhra train burning incident.
Special judge P B Desai, who has been hearing the case on a daily basis, today posted the final arguments on June 8.

The special court is conducting a day-to-day hearing after the Supreme Court division bench headed by Chief justice H L Dattu directed it to finish the trial at the earliest.
The apex court had also said that the judgement should not be pronounced without its permission.
SIT has named 66 accused in the case. Nine of them have been in jail for the last 14 years.
