Thieves sneaked into a house in Pota village here and decamped with a double barrel gun and 25 live cartridges, besides cash and other valuables.
House owner Bhagwan Singh had gone to attend a marriage function along with his family when the theft took place last night, police said.
The burglars also took away some cash and jewellery.
Singh informed the matter to police upon his return and a case of theft was registered, they said.
