Several gun shots were fired in the air as a fight broke out during a monthly meeting of local operators with cable company head over commission here today.
Local cable Fast Way Network MD Sarbjit Singh Raju, who was heading the meeting of the local cable operators, told them to deposit the monthly collection direct to the company office, thereafter commission to be paid to them.
However, operators got irked over the proposal.
During arguments situation took ugly turn when one of the operator Shiv allegedly fired gun shot from his revolver in the air, police said.
Leading to this, the gunman of MD also fired in air.
No one was injured in the firing.
Police have registered a case.
