Producer Guneet Monga, behind films like 'Gangs of Wasseypur', 'Peddlers' and 'The Lunchbox', is all set to produce director Amit Kumar's 'Give Me Blood' and Vasan Bala's 'Side Hero'.

"'Side Hero' is in the last stages of discussion. We are finalising the script of 'Give Me Blood' and will soon start to look for international co-producers soon," said Monga on the sidelines of NFDC Film Bazaar.

'Give Me Blood', about two Indian soldiers serving in the British Indian army during World War II, was selected for Film Bazaar's Co-production Market last year. 'Side Hero' is a slice-of-life comedy.

Monga's Sikhya Entertainment earlier produced Bala's 'Peddlers', starring Gulshan Devaiah, Nishikant Kamat.

It also premiered at the Cannes Critics Weeks last year. Monga through Sikhya also co-produced Kumar's last film 'Monsoon Shootout', which starred Nawazuddin Siddiqui and premiered in official selection at Cannes this year.

Irish filmmaker Steve Barron's UK based Riley Productions will co-produce Bengali director Q's 'Brahman Raman'. The film will be made in English language.

Set in Bangalore in the 1980s, the film is a comedy about a teenager who is topper in his class but also has a whisky addiction, filthy mouth and a porn collection.

Barron is best known for producing films like 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' and 'The Specialist'.
