At least three persons, including a policeman, were killed today in two separate attacks by gunmen in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber-Pakuthnkhwa province.
Several gunmen attacked the Tall Police Station in Hangu district early today, leading to a gun battle with police.
A local official said that attackers were forced to flee but one policeman was killed and three injured in the clash.

In a separate incident, gunmen attacked the residence of inspector Safiur Rehman, chief of Kolachi Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan district, killing his two brothers and wounding the third one.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks but the Taliban often carry out such attacks against the police and other law enforcing agencies.
