"Three salesmen of the shop have received bullet injuries and shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment. While two of them are locals, one belongs to Jammu," a police spokesman said.
The liquor shop, one of the three licensed outlets in the Valley, operates in a government-run hotel in the tourist hub of Dal Lake area.
Separatists and Muslim organisations had demanded closure of the outlet in the past.
