Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Vijender Gupta today met Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and sought his immediate intervention in resolving the "crisis" being faced by nearly 25,000 drivers and owners of taxis in the wake of a ban on plying of diesel-run vehicles in the national capital.
+Gupta alleged that Kejriwal government is showing an "unsympathetic attitude" towards the "acute hardship" and financial crisis being faced by them.
"The Kejriwal government mishandled the case in the court of law. It did not plead their case strongly in the Supreme Court which has resulted in acute hardship and crisis in earning their livelihood," he alleged.

In the meeting with Jung, Gupta said Delhi Assembly Speaker Ram Niwas Goel has nominated 13 AAP MLAs as members of the corporations, out of which 10 legislators have been renominated.
Seeking "intervention" of the Lt Governor on this matter, he claimed it was a "violation" of the the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957.
