Gur chakku declines in Delhi; Raskat falls in Muzaffarnagar

Gur chakku prices dropped by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale market in the national capital today following subdued demand amid increased arrivals.

Muzaffarnagar gur markets also showed weak trend with prices of gur raskat falling by Rs 100 per quintal due to slackened demand from beer makers.

Marketmen said slackened demand and pick-up in supplies from manufacturing areas mainly pulled down gur chakku prices in Delhi.

In Delhi, gur chakku prices slipped by Rs 100 to finish at Rs 3,200-3,300 per quintal.

Similarly, in Muzaffarnagar, gur raskat prices dipped by Rs 100 to conclude at Rs 2,900-2,950 per quintal.
 

Following are today's rates per quintal:

Gur chakku 3,200-3,300, pedi 3,400-3,500, dhayya N.A. And shakkar 3,600-3,700.

Muzaffarnagar: Rasket 2,000-2,950 chakku 2,800-3,000, khurpa N.A. And Ladoo N.A.

Muradnagar: Pedi 3,100-3,150 and dhayya N.A.
