Barring a decline of Rs 100 per quintal in gur chakku on weak demand amid fresh supplies, prices of other gur varieties held steady at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today on little doing.
Gur Raskat prices in Muzaffarnagar dropped by Rs 25 per quintal on increased supplies along with selective buying.
Marketmen said fresh supplies against thin demand, led to the fall in prices of gur chakku at Delhi and Raskat in Muzaffarnagar.

In Delhi, gur Chakku prices slipped by Rs 100 to settle at Rs 3,500-3,600 per quintal.
At Muzaffarnagar, gur Raskat prices eased by Rs 25 to conclude at Rs 2,625-2,675 per quintal.
The volume of business was also at low ebb.

Gur chakku Rs 3,500-3,600, pedi Rs 3,800-3,900, dhayya Rs 3,900-4,000 and shakkar Rs 4,000-4,100.
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,625-2,675, chakku Rs 3,100-3,250,khurpa Rs N.Q. And Ladoo Rs 3,250-3,300.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 3,400-3,450 and dhayya Rs 3,450-3,500.
