Gur prices fell by upto Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale gur (Jaggery) market in the national capital today due to reduced offtake by local parties against adequate stocks.
Marketmen said besides reduced offtake by local partiesand stockists, adequate stocks mainly kept pressure on gur prices.
In Delhi, gur shakkar eased by Rs 100 to Rs 3,100-3,200 per quintal.

In Muzzfarnagar, gur chakku also slipped to Rs 2,500-2700 from Rs 2500-2750 per quintal.
Gur pedi in Muradnagar, too ended lower at Rs 2,600-2650 from previous close of Rs 2,650-2700 per quintal.

Gur chakku Rs 2,900-3,000, pedi Rs 3,000-3,100, dhayya Rs 3,200-3,300 and shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs N.T., chakku Rs 2,500-2,700, khurpa Rs N.T. And Ladoo Rs N.T.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,600-2,650 and dhayya Rs N.T.
