Steady conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today following sporadic demand.
On the other hand, gur chakku and laddoo prices improved by Rs 50 per quintal in Muzaffarnagar on restricted supplies.
Marketmen said restricted arrivals from manufacturing belts mainly attributed rise in gur chakku and laddoo prices in Muzaffarnagar.

In Muzaffarnagar, gur chakku prices advanced from Rs 2,450-2,550 to Rs 2,450-2,575 per quintal.
Gur laddoo also advanced from Rs 2,450-2,500 to end at Rs 2,450-2,550 per quintal.
Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,700-2,800, dhayya Rs 2,900-3,000 and shakkar Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,350-2,400, chakku Rs 2,450-2,575, khurpa Rs 2,350-2,400 and Ladoo Rs 2,450-2,550.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,350-2,400 and dhayya Rs 2,450-2,500.
