Steady conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today with prices ending at last levels after moving both ways on little bouts of buying and selling.
Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur markets also settled steady in thin trade.
Marketmen said adequate position of stocks against demand managed to hold gur prices at the last levels.

Following are today's rates (in Rs per quintal):
Gur chakku Rs 3,100-3,200, pedi Rs 3,200-3,300, dhayya Rs 3,400-3,500 and shakkar Rs 3,600-3,700.
Muzaffarnagar: Rasket Rs 2,500-2,600, chakku Rs 2,700-2,900, khurpa Rs 2,600-2,650 and Ladoo Rs 2,900-3,000.
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,800-2,850 and dhayya Rs 2,900-2,950.
