Lethargic conditions persisted at the wholesale gur (jaggery) market in the national capital today following little buying support amid negligible arrivals.
On the other hand, gur prices dropped in Muradnagar markets on weak demand amid ample stocks.
Marketmen said abound availability of stocks on regular supplies from manufacturing belts amid thin demand mainly pulled down gur prices in Muradnagar.
In Muradnagar, gur Pedi prices settled at Rs 2,075-2,150 from Rs 2,125-2,200, showing a fall of Rs 50 per quintal.
Gur Dhayya prices also declined by Rs 50 to conclude the day at Rs 2,150-2,200 per quintal.
